Wexford Tidy Towns were delighted to hear that Wexford Town ranked 5th cleanest nationally in The IBAL Anti-Litter League 2014. The results were announced on Monday 5th January and Wexford Town was deemed “Cleaner Than European Norms”. Well done to everyone who helps keep Wexford clean.
A breakdown of all the town rankings can be found here. One issue that did arise again for Wexford was dog fouling which failed to let certain areas in the town get the top litter grade. So please pick up after your dog and join the Green Dog Walker initiative which we are involved with to help combat this continuous problem.
