A large section of the art embedded into this historic lane was created by young aspiring Wexford artists ( 5-18 yrs), these budding young creative people will have the satisfaction of having their work on permanent display to generations of Wexford residents and visitors.

April 25th  –   It’s coming up to that time of year again!   The beautiful flowers destined for Wexford in Bloom’s roll-out of a sea of brightly-coloured hanging baskets on Main Street and around the town are coming along just fine!  With the Fleadh fast approaching in August, residents and visitors alike can look forward to a town filled with splashes of colour, and (hopefully) sunshine!

March 28th  –   It is a great honour to have members of Wexford Tidy Towns Volunteers, with our hi-viz jackets and litter-pickers, included in the diverse group of people on the poster welcoming visitors to Fleadh 24 approaching from Wexford Bridge.  Let’s hope it’s a gentle reminder to all to keep our town clean and beautiful during your stay!

March 20th  –  Wexford Tidy Towns are thrilled to reach the finishing line with our Public Art mosaic project, designed by Wexford artist Helen McLean.  The installation was formally launched on 18th March by Wexford Town Mayor John Hegarty.  The artwork now ‘bookends’ the quays with it’s sister “Blue Whale” mosaic artwork on the wall at Wexford Bridge.  Wexford Tidy Towns volunteers are very proud to have been involved with this uplifting art project from conception to installation, none of which would have been possible without the financial and other support from Waterford and Wexford Educational Training Board ( WWETB )
