Wexford Blooms for Summer 2026!

It’s that time of year again folks! Today and tomorrow, all of the fabulous floral window-baskets and hanging baskets are being distributed to all of the participating shops and businesses along Main Street, The Quays and further afield. The town has draped itself in gorgeous Summer colours, which will hopefully be highlighted with plentiful Summer Sun!!
 

Of course, this magical transformation is the result of months of work . Our warmest thanks go to Ann McCann and her Wexford in Bloom team, who set all of this in motion, in collaboration with Beechdale Nurseries some months ago. The blooms were chosen by Ann for their strong and vibrant colours, and have been tended by the Beechdale team, ready for this weeks rollout operation.

A big shout-out to the Wexford Tidy Towns Volunteers and Wexford County Council team who spent two arduous days supplying and hanging the baskets in the participating retailers’ locations – a special thanks to them for being a huge part of making our town shine so brightly throughout the summer.
