The Fleadh is over, long live the Fleadh!
Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2025 in Wexford will live long in the memories of all involved, from the estimated 800,000 visitors over the 8 days, the hundreds of musicians competing, performing and busking, the welcoming Wexford people and the many dedicated Local Authorities staff and Volunteers who made the whole show run so seamlessly.
The Green Team Volunteers including Wexford Tidy Towns regulars, operating from Wexford Tidy Towns HQ in the Bull Ring worked tirelessly in two daily shifts of four hours each to ensure the packed Wexford streets were kept pristine, following the early morning blitzes by Wexford County Council teams.
It’s fair to say that Wexford Town was shown at its very best throughout the 8 days of Fleadh ’25!
We are all so proud to have played our part in what so many in the vast crowds of happy revellers were declaring “Best Fleadh Ever!!”
